Personal Experiance
Scott brings a wealth of experience in performance, entertainment, and live events to Ocean City Entertainment. After training professionally at stage school, he went on to earn a BA (Hons) Degree in Performing Arts from Dartington College of Arts. His background in live performance has seen him take lead roles in productions such as Honk!, Oliver, and Cinderella, building a strong understanding of stage presence, audience engagement, and delivering memorable live experiences.
Alongside his theatre work, Scott has been involved in over 60 productions and professional media projects, including work with major broadcasters and production companies such as ITV, the BBC, TwoFour TV, and BS Films. His screen work has included appearances in Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and the award-winning independent film JOE, giving him valuable experience in the wider entertainment industry.
Starting Out
Scott’s passion for music and live entertainment began at a young age. At just 11 years old, his uncle introduced him to DJing by giving him an old mixing console and a collection of vinyl records. What started as curiosity quickly became a hobby, and by the age of 14 Scott was already DJing at local parties, turning his early passion into his first paid bookings.
As his career developed in theatre and live performance, Scott’s interest in technical production grew alongside his love for music. Working in theatre gave him the opportunity to explore professional sound, lighting, and production technology, further developing the technical skills that now support the events he delivers today. Despite his work across stage, film, and education, DJing has always remained a constant passion, and it continues to play a central role in the experiences he helps create through Ocean City Entertainment.
Scott’s career has always centred around working with people and creating positive experiences. He is a licensed Door Supervisor, qualified First Aider, and Mental Health First Aider, bringing a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and guest wellbeing to every event. His experience working across performance, education, and live productions helps ensure that every Ocean City Entertainment event is delivered with energy, organisation, and attention to detail.
In addition to his entertainment career, Scott is a fully qualified teacher and pastoral lead at a local secondary school, where he continues to support and mentor young people. His work in education has also been recognised internationally, including national and international teaching awards and participation on Microsoft’s Educational Advisory Board.
